The Challenge
Golf course water features are highly visible and directly influence course aesthetics and player experience.
At Shadowridge Country Club, the largest irrigation pond on the 13th hole was plagued by thick algae growth, resulting in murky water, foul odor, and frequent maintenance interruptions.
Despite repeated chemical treatments, algae quickly rebounded, forcing staff to apply algaecides every few weeks. This cycle increased operational costs, introduced chemical exposure risks, and contradicted the club’s sustainability goals.

The Solution
In search of a long-term, chemical-free strategy, Shadowridge installed a SonicPure Ultrasonic Algae Eliminator in their largest pond.
